Links

Sometimes you just want the link to things without going through a whole article or post. I completely understand that and can’t say I blame you for wanting the same. So here are all my (mostly affiliated) links.

Travel

When I travel, I don’t necessarily want to use my own debit card from the US. So, I signed up for Wise. Wise is a company that offers you an electronic money account that can convert currencies, meaning that you can have multiple currencies available to you without creating an account for each one. I’ve found that they’re very upfront about what goes on with transfers and conversions. If you use the link above, you can get a discount on your first transfer fee.

We use Airportstuttles.com or Shuttle Direct to get to and from the airport without having to use our own car. Sometimes our international flights are at 7:00 am and we need to be at the airport at 5:00 am so that we can go through security without worrying about running out of time. Our local public transportation schedules don’t begin until 6:30, so we use this website to find a shuttle that will come get us at whatever time we need.

We try to stay at places we find on Airbnb.com when we travel internationally because that is usually the best way to get a feel for how the locals live. You can also book experiences like cooking classes or even a photographer to photograph your day around town. You’ll get up to $65 off a qualifying booking.

TESOL/TEFL Certificate Courses

I wanted an English tutor/teaching job to be able to start saving up some money, but that’s a little hard for me to do when I only have a High School Diploma. One of the companies I applied for recommended that I obtain a TESOL/TEFL Certificate. They sent me a link to World TESOL Academy where I could take the course for about $40 USD for their 120-hour course. A 120-hour TESOL/TEFL Certificate is one of the best certificates someone could have. There are, however, other certificate options that I will link for you below.

The ones listed above are more expensive than the World TESOL Academy but they also have more course options.

BEAUTY

I have a few referral links for those who want to try out some beauty products.
